We are delighted to announce that Elliot Lee has won the PFA League Two Fans' Player of the Month Award for October.
In what was an unbeaten month for the Red Dragons, Lee played an integral role scoring three vital goals.
He got the opener, in a dramatic home clash against Salford City, which eventually saw Phil Parkinson’s side run out 3-2 victors.
His second, was the opener once more against rivals Notts County, as his effort looped over Sam Slocombe and nestled into the top corner.
The third goal and arguably the most important came at the SToK Cae Ras, with a fizzing half-volley against Sutton United to secure a late three points.
After remaining unbeaten in October and winning the award, Lee thanked the Red Dragons fans for their support.
He said: “I'm delighted, it's been a good start to the season and it was a good month for me personally and the team.
"I'm really grateful to all the supporters who voted for me. Personal accolades are lovely, but team ones at the end of the season are the ones that make it all worth it."
