SUPPORTER INFORMATION | Wrexham AFC vs Morecambe

The key information you need ahead of tomorrow's clash

24 November 2023

Wrexham AFC are back at home in Sky Bet League Two tomorrow afternoon, as the Red Dragons host Morecambe.

Please read the important information about ticketing and entry, and about visiting the STōK Cae Ras for this game – including important notes on supporter conduct. The game is all-ticket and there will be no cash turnstiles in operation.

Please be patient with staff and volunteers on the day, and please continue to represent our Football Club in the way in which we are all proud.

For a full list of ground regulations, please see here

Please note that there is an event at Wrexham University, so there will be extremely limited parking at the University Car Park.

A list of alternative car parks can be found on the Wrexham Council website, here: https://www.wrexham.gov.uk/service/parking/find-car-park.

TICKETING AND ENTRY

Gates open for the game open 90 minutes before kick-off. Please note, there will be no cash turnstiles in operation for this game.

As ever, we ask all supporters to get to the STōK Cae Ras in good time to reduce queuing times and ensure any enquiries can be dealt with promptly and well in advance of kick-off time.

If you selected collection for your match-day tickets, please collect your tickets from the Wrexham AFC Ticket Office located on the Wrexham Lager Stand, next to the Club Shop.

We urge all supporters to collect tickets ahead of matchday where possible, to limit matchday queues and ensure that they can take their seat in time for kick-off.

We also ask all supporters to consider using the print-at-home/eTicket option in future.

Please note, the ticket office will not be available for any other enquiries unrelated to the match, from 90 minutes prior to kick off.  This includes online account queries and away ticket collections, which will only be available up to 90 minutes before kick-off, and after the match.

Print-at-home/eTickets

Please remember the following key steps to help ensure a smooth entry into the STōK Cae Ras:

  • Print it out as a paper ticket, in its original size (A4)
  • Print on plain white paper, and do not alter the ticket in any way.
  • Ensure the print is of sufficient quality to be read by the scanners on the turnstiles, and not faded/discoloured.
  • Make sure you do not fold along the QR code.

How to use an eTicket on your phone

  • Load your ticket up on your phone before getting to the turnstiles.
  • Ensure your phone is carrying enough charge before leaving for the STōK Cae Ras.
  • Ensure your screen is not damaged in anyway.
  • Set your screen brightness to full.
  • Zoom in on the barcode section of the ticket to help the turnstile operators to scan you in.

Wrexham Lager Stand ticket holders should enter via turnstiles 5-10. We recommend supporters in blocks Y7-Y9 and LY6-LY8 should enter via turnstiles 7-10 to reduce queues at turnstiles 5-6.

Macron Stand ticket holders should use turnstiles 25-30. The STōK Cold Coffee Brew Stand ticket holders should enter via turnstiles 36-42.

Please note, at the stewards’ discretion, you may be asked to enter via an alternative turnstile in order to manage queues.

Please remove all face coverings when entering the ground, both outside and through the turnstiles.

PYROTECHNICS AND LIGHT SHOWS

On particular fixtures there will pyrotechnics and light shows - especially on evening fixtures. If you have any questions regarding this prior to a fixture, please contact info@wrexhamafc.co.uk

BAG SEARCHING

We encourage supporters to arrive early to enter the ground, as their will be increased strict searches in operation on matchdays. Only A4 sized bags will be permitted and will be searched and tagged by security.

All supporters will be searched upon entry into the STōK Cae Ras, so leave plenty of time for arrival before heading to the Stadium.

Food and drink is not permitted to be brought into the stadium. This also includes flasks. Pushchairs are prohibited at the ground and there is no provision for the storage of items at the STōK Cae Ras.

You can see the full list of prohibited items in our Ground Regulations.

SUPPORTER CONDUCT

Wrexham AFC wishes to remind supporters of the potential safety implications and consequences that may occur as a result of pitch incursions and other illegal and unacceptable behaviour.

As previously communicated, supporters who encroach on the pitch risk facing a Football Banning Order as well as a criminal conviction, while the Club itself could also face a fine for these actions.

There may also be other implications for the Club, including restrictions on future away ticket allocations. This is due to potential safety measures the home Club are required to put in place which impacts on the availability of seating.

The Club understands the emotion and passion that comes with attending the match as a fan but must reiterate that the safety of players, managers and supporters on both sides remains our priority.

The vast majority of fans have – and continue to – support the Club in an appropriate manner and are a credit to Wrexham AFC, but we will seek the strongest possible punishment for those who enter the field of play or engage in any other unacceptable behaviour.

As in line with the FA initiative, Wrexham AFC fully support the ‘Love Football Protect the Game’ program.

Wrexham AFC support the new measures that have been implemented to both improve participant and fan behaviour across the board.

Wrexham AFC operates a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind, and supporters are encouraged to come forward and report any incidents it to the nearest steward, the Club, or Kick it Out.

For further details on the campaign and the new policies in place to combat hate crime, read more here.

Supporters are also reminded that no flags or musical instruments will be permitted into the STōK Cae Ras unless they have been authorised by our Safety Officer.

Should supporters wish to bring flags or musical instruments to the ground, they must contact info@wrexhamafc.co.uk at least 14 days prior to matchday. Fans should not travel with the aforementioned items if they have not been authorised prior to matchday.

The use of illegal substances and pyrotechnics, and the throwing of missiles, has resulted in various banning orders and is prohibited. Should you encounter any trouble or unacceptable behaviour, you can report this to your nearest steward or, confidentially, by emailing info@wrexhamafc.co.uk.

AWAY SUPPORTERS

Away supporters enter the ground through the Wrexham Lager Stand nearest to the STōK Cold Coffee Brew Stand. Entry is via turnstiles 1-4. Upon entry into the STōK Cae Ras, supporters are reminded that they will be searched on arrival.

PARKING

Due to an event at Wrexham University, parking in the University car park next to the ground, with access via the Plas Coch or Crispin Lane will be extremely limited.

There will be increased parking restrictions on Crispin Lane, so please find alternate parking arrangements.

The car park will cost £5 and will be controlled separately to the Football Club.

A list of alternative car parks can be found on the Wrexham Council website, here: https://www.wrexham.gov.uk/service/parking/find-car-park.

Blue badge parking WILL be available at Wrexham University in the usual spaces, staffed by the Wrexham Disabled Supporters Association.

As a result of the game, Mold Road will be closed 15 minutes before the end of the match and restrictions will last for an hour. Please ensure to take care when leaving the stadium.

The STōK Cae Ras does not have a dedicated area for the display of flags and therefore is extremely limited. Small display flags may be permitted at the discretion of the Safety Officer depending upon available space, but at no time have a discriminatory, commercial, political, contentious or obscene message on it. These flags will not be permitted, and we have no holding room for flags to be contained and returned.
