We’re proud to be supporting the Miners Rescue and the fantastic work they do locally, we will announce on sale dates across the clubs website and social platforms.
The Miners Rescue Station was purpose built, as required by the Coal Mines Act 1911, and was officially opened in November 1913 as a training centre for mine rescue teams. The Wrexham Miners Project is now working to preserve the building in memory of the brave people who trained here and to provide a cultural hub for the local community.
For many years, the building stood empty. Due to neglect and financial constraints, it is now in need of significant refurbishment. We are working to rebuild and renovate damaged parts of the building to house a museum, art studio and community rooms.
