Earlier this month it was announced that Wrexham AFC will be selling Christmas cards in the Club Shop to raise funds for the Miners Rescue Centre.
We can now announce the two winning designs, which have been voted for by supporters and will now be available to pre-order online through the Club Shop website.
Following the conclusion of the voting process, design two and design four were announced as the winners.
You can now pre-order a pack of ten 2023 Christmas cards, featuring five of each design for £4.50.
We’re proud to be supporting the Miners Rescue and the fantastic work they do locally.
The Miners Rescue Station was purpose built, as required by the Coal Mines Act 1911, and was officially opened in November 1913 as a training centre for mine rescue teams.
The Wrexham Miners Project is now working to preserve the building in memory of the brave people who trained here and to provide a cultural hub for the local community.
For many years, the building stood empty. Due to neglect and financial constraints, it is now in need of significant refurbishment.
They are working to rebuild and renovate damaged parts of the building to house a museum, art studio and community rooms
