The Red Dragons flew straight through to Round Two with a convincing 13-goal victory away to CPD Pwllheli FC in the October sunshine.
Ava Suckley opened the scoring for Wrexham just five minutes into the match - this was to be quickly followed up by Carra Jones just two minutes later. Lili Jones and Rosie Hughes doubled the scoreline before the 20-minute mark. The goal margin continued to grow before the half-time whistle with Suckley scoring a further three to add to her tally. Mari Gibbard also scored a perfectly-placed header - to mark her first goal since joining Wrexham AFC back in February.
Another 45 minutes of play gave Wrexham the chance to attack further - Libby MacKenzie taking the first of the second-half in the 54th minute. A double substitution a minute later gave both Lily Whitefoot and Natasha Spearing more minutes with the first-team squad. Four more goals were to go the Red Dragons way - Suckley scoring two in between Carra Jones and Whitefoot adding one apiece.
