An 88th minute goal for Elliot Lee gave the Red Dragons a win in the scorching, September sunshine.
It proved a slow start for both teams in the 27 degree heat. However, Luke Young managed to break the deadlock just before half time - his shot deflecting off the Doncaster defender and beyond the scrambling goalkeeper.
The visitors levelled in the 52nd minute, but that couldn't dampen the tremendous atmosphere inside the STōK Cae Ras, as "Super Paul Mullin" echoed around the ground as the back-to-back Player of the Year returned to action for the first time this season. A debut apperance in the 82nd minuite for Wrexham AFC's newest signing Steven Fletcher also followed, and a good afternoon became a great one when Lee scored the winning goal in the 88th minute in front of a packed STōK Cold Brew Coffee Stand.
