Red Dragons dominate in final night fixture of 2023/24 league season

10 April 2024

Wrexham AFC earned a commanding victory against Crawley Town at the STōK Cae Ras in the final night fixture of the 2023/24 league season.

The Red Dragons looked in control from the start with any threats dealt with, and Arthur Okonkwo in control at the back. Wrexham AFC took an authoritative lead when two goals came in the space of three minutes - Ryan Barnett claimed a first Wrexham goal in the 21st minute with Paul Mullin doubling the lead in the 23rd.

Wrexham remained in control in the second-half with chances arising - Andy Cannon taking his and earning the Red Dragons a third goal. Mullin left his mark on the game just minutes before his substitution - a coolly-taken second of the match for the King of Merseyside putting Wrexham firmly in the ascendancy.

Crawley did earn a stoppage-time consolation - a lone negative on Wrexham's otherwise perfect night under the floodlights.

Take a look at how the match unfolded in the matchday gallery above, from the perspectives of Club Photographers Gemma Thomas, Rob Stead and Lloyd Jones.
