Congratulations to Andy Cannon, who has won our Goal of the Month competition for March after capping off a superb team move against Grimsby Town.
It was a move that started with the Red Dragons defending their own penalty area; a crucial tackle from Elliot Lee unleashed Paul Mullin, who danced past two midfielders before sliding in Tom O’Connor who threaded the ball through to Cannon and he smashed the ball into the top corner.
Lili Jones came in a very deserved second place with her audacious strike that lobbed Chelsea Herbert as Wrexham AFC Women took the lead against Swansea City at the STōK Cae Ras.
