Wrexham AFC is supporting Time to Talk Day 2024, the UK’s largest conversation about mental health and wellbeing.
Time to Talk Day is an annual awareness day which happens every year in the UK at the beginning of February. In Wales, Time to Talk Day 2024 is run by Time to Change Wales, Adferiad Recovery and Mind Cymru.
The day is focused on creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health. We all have mental health challenges, and by talking about it we can support ourselves and others.
Wrexham AFC will be hosting a drop-in Time to Talk session at the Wrexham Miners Project, Maesgwyn Road, today, from 11am-2pm.
The session will be hosted by Dragon Chat volunteers Vicky Tymz, Lowri Tudur and Nicola Hughes, who will be on site to welcome anyone who wants to drop in for a brew and a chat.
Alternatively, on Thursday evening our Dragon Chat Men’s Mental Health peer support group will meet for an online session at 7pm.
