Friendly confirmed as Wrexham AFC Women prepare for Phase Two

21 February 2024

Wrexham AFC Women will boost their preparations for the Bute Energy Welsh Cup semi-final and Phase Two of the Genero Adran Premier with a friendly at home to Stourbridge on Sunday (February 25) at The Rock.

Tickets for the friendly, which kicks off at 2pm against the FA Women’s National League North side, are available from our eTicketing website now and will cost £3 for adults and £1 for under-16s.

There will also be ticket sales available on the day (cash only) from The Rock.

Sunday’s match will serve as preparation for Steve Dale’s side ahead of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup semi-final against cross-border rivals TNS a week later. New signings Liv Fuller, Brooke Cairns and Annie Small are all available for selection.

Phase Two of the Genero Adran Premier league season then kicks on Sunday March 10, when Wrexham travel to Swansea City.

Stourbridge play in the third tier of English women’s football, having achieved back-to-back promotions – with current Wrexham AFC captain Keren Allen part of their promotion-winning squad.

The Glassgirls currently sit 10th in the league, two points off a top-half place in their first season in the division.

How to purchase

Our home friendly against Stourbridge kicks off at 2pm, and will be a fully ticketed fixture, with tickets available to book online or from the Club’s Ticket Office.

Tickets cost just £3 for adults and £1 for under-16s. Please note, all under-14s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

All supporters claiming a ticket must have a valid, up-to-date eTicketing account. We are now pleased to announce that you can now purchase up to four tickets per account.

Due to this, ticket checks for concessions will take place at the ground and ID may be required at the gate.

If you are buying for friends and family, please see this page on how to create a family and friends network, in order to purchase tickets on behalf of others.

Online tickets for this fixture will go off sale at 10am on Sunday February 25, while tickets will be sold on the day at the Rock subject to availability.

All sales on the day will be cash-only, there are no provisions for card payments.

Ticket Collections

All tickets will be issued as paper tickets, and it is advised that they are picked up from the Ticket Office at the STōK Cae Ras in advance of the game.

There will be a collection facility in place at the Rock, however, this should be used as a last resort to avoid delays and ensure that you can make it into the ground ahead of kick-off.
