Wrexham AFC Women wrapped up phase one of the Genero Adran Premier with a draw against visitors Cardiff Met Women.
An evenly-matched first-half saw both sides create opportunities - however it was the Red Dragons who took first honours. Rosie Hughes added to her goal tally for the season with an assist from Amber Lightfoot just minutes before half-time.
Cardiff Met quickly restored parity in the 49th minute, and then took the lead with just 16 minutes of the match remaining. Wrexham AFC Women were left with a challenge if they were to avoid what would have been a first defeat of the season against a team ranked below them, but rose to it through Mari Gibbard's half-volley on 81 minutes to secure an entertaining draw.
