Wrexham AFC Women earned themselves full honours with a last-minute winner at home to Pontypridd United.
A blow for the Red Dragons in the 35th minute saw Pontypridd United open the scoring - putting pressure on the home side, who had enjoyed a number of earlier chances. It was pressure to which Wrexham responded just six minutes later, however - Rosie Hughes levelling the scoreline just before the end of the half.
Just like the first-half, Pontypridd were first to find a goal after the break - scoring a sumptuous free-kick in the 68th minute of the match. Quick to react once again were the Red Dragons though - after several attempts Carra Jones found the net, levelling the score for a second time.
On a charge, Wrexham now had the momentum and secured themselves a late winner with Hughes finding her way around Pontypridd's goalkeeper Klaudia Wojtyczka.
