As part of the EFL’s Community Weekend, we were delighted to welcome Alan, Margaret, George Sharon on behalf of the Wrexham Miners Project for a half-time pitchside presentation at the game against AFC Wimbledon.
The EFL Community Weekend asks Club’s to shine a spotlight on people making a difference in our community.
Executive Director Humphrey Ker presented them with a certificate, in celebration of the positive impact the Miners Project has had on our local community.
As well as preserving our borough’s heritage and commemorating the 1934 Gresford Colliery Disaster, the Miners Project offers an accessible hub and social activities for the benefit of the community.
