We can confirm that our Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round tie at Blackburn Rovers will take place at 7:30pm on Monday January 29 and will be broadcast live on BBC Wales.
It will be the first time the Red Dragons have visited Ewood Park since 1981 when Mel Sutton’s side held out for a goalless draw.
The Red Dragons progressed into the Fourth Round after defeating Shrewsbury in last weekend’s cross-border derby.
Tom O’Connor’s second half strike provided the definitive touch in the clash, which for the second time in consecutive years caused a cup upset at the same stage.
Rovers sit 17th in the Championship, and Phil Parkinson explained he believes it is set to be another great Cup tie for the Club.
He said: “We’re looking forward to the next round against Blackburn Rovers and it will be a proper cup tie I’m sure.”
Full ticket and travel confirmation for the fixture will be released in due course.
