Elliot Lee expressed his love for the Club, after a signing a new deal which will keep him in North Wales until the summer of 2027.
The creative midfielder joined the Red Dragons in the summer of 2022, in a bid to bolster our promotion push to the EFL.
He became an integral part of Phil Parkinson’s side and has flourished in Sky Bet League Two scoring 13 goals so far.
The deal means that Lee will have been with the Club for five years, and he explained he has found a home at Wrexham AFC.
He said: “You go to some clubs, and you don’t get the same feeling, but I just fell in love with the Club and the people.
“Day-to-day we enjoy ourselves; we all get along so well and there’s so many great people to work with.
“When you get that feeling everyday why would you go elsewhere. It’s something you should treasure because it won’t last forever.
“I’m over the moon and delighted, I can’t wait to make more memories.”
Creating those memories has been a key feature for the Red Dragons in the past two years both on and off the pitch.
One of the most recent came in the Emirates FA Cup, as Lee helped cause an upset in a seven-goal thriller against Coventry City and two enthralling ties against Sheffield United.
They return to the competition once again this weekend, with a local derby at Shrewsbury Town taking centre stage.
In what has been a highly anticipated tie, Lee explained that they will be ready for a special occasion at Croud Meadow.
He said: “We can’t wait, we’ve got some time to refresh after the busy Christmas period but it’s one the whole Club is absolutely buzzing for.
“We love the FA Cup no matter who we are playing against, but this will be extra special to take the fans there and hopefully we can come away with the win."
