Victory for Cushion and Davies, defeat for Waters and Butler anticipates debut

30 January 2024

Dan Davies and Owen Cushion continued to build up their minutes at the weekend, with a friendly victory against fellow JD Cymru Premier side Bala Town.

After finishing in the bottom half in the first part of the season, it was a positive result for the Seagulls ahead of their upcoming phase two play-off against Penybont at the weekend.

Elsewhere, postponements have halted Billy Waters’ time at Doncaster, but he made his second appearance for the Rovers.

It was a heavy defeat for the Yorkshire based side, and Waters came off the bench to feature as a second half substitute at half time.

Tonight, Scott Butler could make his debut for Marine after joining the Lilywhites earlier this month when they face FC United of Manchester.

He was an unused substitute at the weekend, when they came from behind to defeat Worksop Town 2-1 in added time.
