Billy Waters, Dan Davies and Owen Cushion all made their respective debuts at the weekend, after departing the Red Dragons this week on loan until the end of the season.
The three left the STōK Cae Ras last week, picking up opportunities in Sky Bet League Two and the JD Cymru Premier.
For Waters, he made the move to Yorkshire where he joined up with Doncaster Rovers in time for their fixture against Newport County.
After signing on Thursday evening, he donned the number 40 shirt and came close to making it a perfect debut, but his header was well saved by Nick Townsend.
It was a positive performance for Waters, but unfortunately, they fell to a late defeat with Seb Palmer-Houlden’s strike in added securing the win for County.
Both Davies and Cushion earned their first starts for Colwyn Bay, who are managed by former Wrexham AFC defender Steve Evans.
The game against Pontypridd United, broadcast live on Sgorio, didn’t pass without incident as the Seagulls were defeated deep in added time.
Davies, 19, started in his favoured left back position whilst Cushion played as part of the Bay midfield at the Eirias Stadium.
Colwyn Bay looked to have snatched a point, only for Pontypridd to grab an even later winner to triumph 3-2, despite an injury to a Bay player in the build-up.
