Wrexham AFC can confirm defender Scott Butler has signed on loan with Marine for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
Butler – who has also spent time out on loan with Nantwich Town this season – will bolster Marine’s play-off bid in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
Marine currently sit third in the table, which is one step higher in the football pyramid than where he has been playing with Nantwich.
Butler, 21, made his first-team debut in the FA Trophy last January, and was in the match-day squad for our FA Cup matches against Coventry City and Sheffield United last season.
He represented the Wrexham Red Dragons at the TST 7-a-side tournament in North Carolina in June, and has appeared 32 times in all competitions for Nantwich so far this season.
