Wrexham AFC Women secured their place in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup final when they defeated local rivals TNS.
At the neutral location of Flint's Essity Stadium, Wrexham began their charge to becoming finalists. A level first-half saw chances for both in what was a tightly-fought semi-final. It wasn't until the closing stages of the first-half when the Red Dragons took charge before the break. Rosie Hughes calmly finished after excellent endeavour from Carra Jones to charge down a clearance.
The second-half saw oppportunities for both sides, however to no avail - Wrexham keeping cool under the floodlights to seal their spot in the final.
