Wrexham AFC’s STōK Cae Ras will host Cymru’s opening UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 qualifier next month when Rhian Wilkinson’s side will face Croatia on Friday 5 April (KO 19:15).

Cymru last played in Wrexham in March 2020, beating Estonia 2-0 in a friendly match in front of more than 2,000 fans. Wilkinson and the players will hope that Cymru’s return will see the Red Wall turn out in their numbers to support the side in the world’s oldest international football stadium.

Following the fixture, Cymru will then travel to Kosovo for their second fixture on Tuesday 9 April at the Zahir Pajaziti Stadium in Podujevo.

Cymru’s two other home qualifiers will take place at Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli against Ukraine on Friday 31 May and Kosovo for the final match of the campaign on Tuesday 16 July.

Cymru last played at Parc y Scarlets for three matches in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers, with attendances more than doubling between the first and third match, peaking at more than 4,000.

Speaking about the announcement, Rhian Wilkinson said “Now that we know our fixture schedules and venues, I can’t wait to get started with the team. There’s such a strong Welsh football history with playing in Wrexham and I’m excited to see the buzz and excitement in the area currently around football.

“The players have also had very positive experiences of playing in Llanelli over the last few years, and hopefully we can grow our fanbase even further in west Wales with our matches there in the summer.

“The Red Wall play a huge part in our success and we’re all looking forward to seeing them again at our matches.”

Cymru will also have two away matches in May and July, against Ukraine (Tuesday 4 June) and Croatia (Friday 12 July).

Ticket information for the matches will be announced in due course.
