LOAN WATCH | Mid-Week roundup

13 March 2024

In what was been a disrupted week for our loan players, Jake Bickerstaff featured most as he played twice for Accrington Stanley.

Last weekend, he started for managerless Stanley and lasted 61 minutes in their 3-0 defeat against Bradford City.

However, they managed to return to winning ways in midweek, as Bickerstaff came off the bench in their 2-1 victory against Swindon.

Elsewhere, Owen Cushion came off the bench to help secure a point late point for Colwyn Bay on their travels to Barry Town.

Cushion helped to marshall the midfield and Udoyen Akpan scored a 97th minute equaliser to earn a vital point in their fight against relegation.

Billy Waters remained an unused substitute for Doncaster Rovers meanwhile Dan Davies continued his recovery to full fitness and Scott Butler took part in a friendly against Vauxhall Motors in midweek.
