Manager Dean Keates was keen to stress the importance of this weekends match when he spoke to the media team earlier.

Promotion rivals Aldershot Town visit My Racecourse on Saturday afternoon for a top end of the table clash.

Aldershot currently sit in 3rd place while Wrexham slipped to 5th after a third straight draw on Tuesday evening at Solihull Moors.

However, Wrexham are unbeaten in 11 games and are level on points behind the shots on goal difference. The manager said: "It's another big game and they are coming thick and fast. It's the next game and it's probably the biggest game of the season for us.

"We are at home. We want to get the three points."

When asked about the teams around Wrexham in the table he said: "There are going to be points dropped all over the division. Not just at this weekend but there will be lot's of twists and turns before the end of the season.

The manager is hoping to draw out the experience of his players ahead of the big game saying: "We have a changing room with a lot of players who have been through little runs like this throughout their careers.

"A lot of them have experience achieving things and we'll call on their experience."
