It's been 122 days since Wrexham last played a game on the road and we're missing that feeling of nerves and excitement only a trip to opposition soil can bring.
That's why we've been asking Wrexham fans for their favourite ever away days following the Town, with no shortage of fantastic memories and matches surfacing. Below are just some entries from your best days out with goals, trophies, late drama and beating all odds featuring!
@RichieV23 on Twitter: "Chester 1988, my first Chester away game & it was under the lights 4 days before xmas! Best christmas present ever for a 16-year-old at the time!"
@Gareth1864 on Twitter: "Brentford away in the FA Cup a few years ago. Funniest away day ever"
@Disco_KKCC on Twitter: "Hartlepool 4-6 Wrexham I was one of the 129 in the away end, Juan Ugarte's 4th goal of the afternoon was a personal highlight, one touch away from the defender, 2nd touch saw the ball arrow in the bottom corner. And my text was read out on 606 that evening!"
@WxmRob on Twitter: "Tranmere in 2017, winning with 10 men. Holroyd’s goal = limbs all over the place"
@BRIANRo86497688 on Twitter: "LDV Vans Final v Southend in 2005, administration, 10 points deduction and in the midst of a relegation battle, but lead by Sir Denis we took over the capital, as for the game there was Ugarte, Fergies forward roll, then we lifted to cup to the sound of Rockin all over the World"
@GarethDavies79 on Twitter: "Birmingham City away in 1997. The best I’ve ever seen a Wrexham team play. Completely outplayed a team a division above".
@GarethITV on Twitter: "Birmingham City, FA Cup 5th Round, 1997 It felt like we‘d beat anyone in the cup that season. 1-0 down at half time, but the comeback was breathtaking. And when I close my eyes, I can still see the ball rolling slow-motion into the net off Karl’s boot to make it 3. Great day".
@DavidHu73506273 on Twitter: "Wigan away under Dean Smith. Spent before and after in Bennos pub in Skelmersdale and to round it off Hector Sam came off the bench to score the winner I think"
@JohnWrx2103 on Twitter: "West Ham 1997, FA3, Roosters winning goal in front of the Wxm fans in the final minutes, silencing Upton Park".
@Aled174 on Twitter: "Barnet 1 Wrexham 2 in 2007. The train was delayed and we saw kick off from the train as we approach the station. 1-0 down at half time & without a win for 12 games. Up steps Lee McEvilly with 2 (celebrated by rubbing his belly after fat chants) & the start of the great escape".
Mark Harper on Facebook: "Mine was Peterborough away in our cup run, won 4-2, Peter Ward was immense for us. Great support there and a great trip back in the minibus, stopped in every pub I think!"
DJ Povey on Facebook: "Wembley 2013 vs Grimsby because I was the mascot with a great atmosphere for our first ever time there or stoke away in the fa cup, the scenes when Carrington scored were unreal".
Sandra Fry on Facebook: "16 Feb 1974, Southampton 5th round of the FA Cup. 1-0 win. Through to QFs. But in my eyes any away game is a contender. Our fans are in a different league!"
Shaun Holden on Facebook: "Gateshead away, April 2011. Won 1-0. About 300 Wrexham fans singing for 90 minutes non-stop. Bloke in his 30s on his stag do walking out as mascot wearing a kids keepers top. Conga line in the stand. Great weather, beer flowing before the game, Keates scored. Just one of those random away days that you remember.
Ian Parry on Facebook: "Nottingham Forest, 1982 FA Cup 3-1 win. Downman, Vinter and McNeill [scored]. Went down there new years day only for the game to be called off due to fog and was played the next day and what a game, well worth the second journey beating the European champions".
Phillip Edwards on Facebook: "Brussels for the Anderlecht game. Magic."
Jason Jones on Facebook: "Lyngby for me! A brilliant trip which ended up with me holding aloft Chris Armstrong which appeared on the front the next home game programme".
NathSalt1 on Instagram: "Brighton away in the FA Cup, Wrexham Lager in the away end, the late equaliser, superb in all".
PoemsbyLewis on Instagram: "First (and I believe only) time we beat Dover. Walked straight from the cliffs to the Crabble in the heat hoping for a point. Rode our luck with the penalty save and disallowed goal but remember coming out the ground in love with Fondop and convinced we'd be near the top. Sad that we won't be able to make memories like that in August".
Urqhart_ on Instagram: "Shrewsbury away in 2007, Michael Proctor with the late winner!"
Floorit_nick on Instagram: "Nothing will top the 2005 LDV Vans Trophy Final in Cardiff vs Southend with 20,000 reds. Goals from Ugarte and Ferguson bringing it home with the iconic Trinidad trio".
Cindyfant on Instagram: "Porto away, doesn't get any better than that!"
