Following the support received after our previous appeal for donors, we are once again teaming up with the Welsh Blood Service (WBS) to assist the NHS at this time of national emergency.
They have asked us to point out, that they have more donation sessions coming up locally in the next few weeks, starting with Chirk this Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday – 28, 29 April & 1 May.
These are Appointment Only – so please book online at https://wbs.wales/WrexhamAFCChirk
The available slots cover times from 12 noon through to 2.30pm and then again from 4.00pm until 7.30pm at:
Please keep giving blood and remember, journeys to sessions are regarded as ‘essential travel’.
The WBS reported that: “The posts you shared for sessions in Wrexham, a few weeks ago, generated lots of interaction and clicks onto the link, so thank you.
“The sessions did very well with 140 donations collected over the three days, potentially saving 420 lives!”
Manager Dean Keates is again urging Wrexham fans to continue doing their bit for both the local community and the NHS, by supporting these sessions.
“Thank you to everyone who was able to donate at the recently and I would urge all supporters to see if they too can also back this appeal.
“It’s another great way of contributing and helping those, who are going above and beyond to help us, by keeping the stocks of vital blood supplies at a working level.
“It’s our turn to support the NHS in any way we can.”
Your donations are still needed every day to save and improve lives.
