Wrexham AFC are delighted to confirm that WREXRENT, which has it’s office in the town, has sponsored the University End for the next three seasons.
WREXRENT is a specialist property management company, offering property management services to landlords and finding homes for tenants in the Wrexham area. They aim to provide tenants with comfortable, well-maintained housing, where they can feel right at home.
WREXRENT is part of a wider group of companies who have a long association with the football club, including; DMR (North Wales) Ltd and Minera Roof Trusses - who began sponsoring the club in 1978.
The family businesses who have traded in Wrexham for over 40 years also owned Eric Roberts (Builders) Ltd, who previously sponsored the WREXRENT Stand for over 10 years in the early 2000s; thanks to Managing Director, Chris Jones.
In 2016 DMR funded and constructed ‘Jonesy’s Bar’ in the WREXRENT Stand concourse, which was a brainchild of the My Racecourse ‘Big Ideas’ session, where a number of businesses attended the stadium to give facilities input.
Geoff Scott, Commercial Manager for Wrexham AFC, said: “We are delighted that WREXRENT have sponsored the University End here at the Racecourse. The family-owned company are long-term sponsors, having sponsored Wrex the Dragon for the past 3 years.
“A lot of our money comes from our loyal fans but we do need commercial deals to keep things going and if we can land them with local companies such as WREXRENT, then all the better because it is what the club is all about – having this terrific support from the community.”
In the coming weeks we’ll be hearing more from WREXRENT about their sponsorship of the stand.
