EMIRATES FA CUP | Reds Handed Away Tie

Wrexham AFC have been handed an away tie in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup, where we have been drawn to face Chesterfield.

The ties will be played the weekend of 19/20 October, with the winners securing their place in the First Round proper.

The draw was been made this afternoon (Monday, 7 October) on TalkSport 2 - with Wrexham (ball number 11) in the Northern section.

Winning clubs in the fourth round qualifying will earn £18,750 from The FA prize fund and, more importantly, a place in the first round proper. While for the first time, the losers will collect £6,250 - as the FA is now splitting the winners' purse for all Qualifying rounds between the two teams.

Fourth round qualifying ties will take place over the weekend of Saturday, 19 October.
