Wrexham 2-1 Bromley
This week we flashback to October 2016 with Wrexham under the caretaker management of Dean Keates after the departure of former manager Gary Mills.
It was a game Wrexham needed to win after a shock FA Cup exit to Stamford just days prior.
We open up with some good build-up play down the right between Tyler Harvey and Kai Edwards, before Harvey crossed to the back post. Mark Carrington was strong and picked out Shaun Harrad who buried the ball for the reds to take the lead just before half-time.
Wrexham's key to winning this game was keeping in form Blair Turgott quiet. When they did allow him space on the edge of the area the youngster side footed Bromley level.
However, Wrexham won the game in the 80th minute. A poor throw by keeper Alan Julian was pounced upon by Leo Smith who fed the ball in to an attacking area.
A few attempts by Jordan Evans and Hamza Bencherif were charged down before the ball fell for Gerry Mcdonagh who found the back of the net.
