Wrexham 1-1 Dover Athletic
This week we flashback to March 2015 and an action packed 1-1 draw at My Racecourse with Saturday's visitors Dover.
Wrexham were under the stewardship of caretaker manager (now head coach) Carl Darlington after the dismissal of Kevin Wilkin.
Goalkeeper Andy Coughlin saved Stefan Payne's second-half penalty which helped Wrexham to the 1-1 draw.
Coughlin's save came minutes after Ricky Modeste's scrappy goal had cancelled out Wrexham midfielder Jay Harris' rasping first-half strike.
Playing for the first time since the sacking of manager Kevin Wilkin, the Dragons were good value for the lead.
The Whites' Nicky Deverdics did miss a good opportunity to claim all three points for the visitors in added time.
Wrexham, with Darlington in charge made two changes from the team that just 48-hours earlier had lost the FA Trophy final in a penalty shoot-out against North Ferriby United.
This told after the second half as Dover, who were unchanged from their weekend 1-0 win over Telford had a bigger share of possession.
It was a different story regading league position compared to this weekend's encounter. This result saw Dover stay in 10th place in the table, while Wrexham remained in a lowly 15th place.
