Wrexham 4-0 Gateshead
This game took place back in November 2015 at the Racecourse. It was a good afternoon for the reds who capitilised on the Heeds inability to keep all their players on the pitch.
The first thing we see here is a brave coming together between Blaine Hudson and goalkeeper Rhys Taylor. Thankfully, even though you can hear the impact, the big centre-half was able to continue.
Next up, another coming together in midfield saw the Heed's Patrick McLaughlin sent off for his challenge on Jon Nolan.
Making the extra man count Wrexham got on to the front foot. They opened the scoring with Dominic Vose and Nolan pulling the srings in midfield when Connor Jennings was set free down the left. His cross was met by Rob Evans who headed the ball home past Sam Russell.
Wrexham made it 2-0 ten minutes later. Vose's corner was poked home at the back post by Hudson.
Four minutes later was THAT goal! Nolan won a free-kick midway into the Gateshead half which Adriano Moke took quickly. The rest is history... Vose danced his way through what seemed a never ending line of Gateshead players and scored once of the best ever goals in a long Racecourse history.
Vose capped off a great days work by picking up his second and Wrexham's fourth five minutes later. Jamal Fyfield's punt forward was chased down by Jennings who tee'd up Vose to side foot home inside the area.
