Wrexham 3-3 Guiseley

We flashback to the 14th October 2015 this time for Guiseley's first trip to My Racecourse on the back of promotion from the Vanarama National League North.

The video is a highlight package from the former Wrexham PlayerHD service and the commentator is media team member Jamie Davies (now a talkSPORT commentator).

Guiseley took the game straight to the hosts and opened the scoring within three minutes of the match.

Gavin Rothery would be a key man in the match. He opened the scoring after a throw-in on the Mold Road side of the ground was well worked in to the box. Rothery drove forward and smashed the ball home past Cameron Belford.

Wrexham struck back in the 23rd minute. After coming close moments earlier, Dominic Vose seemed to dance on the ball before slotting it home from distance.

Wrexham made it 2-1 in the 37th minute. Vose again pouncing on a mistake at the back to side foot home in front of the kop.

Guiseley made it 2-2 in the 70th minute after Javan Vidal gave away a free-kick. A good delivery into the Wrexham box was bundled home by sub Liam Dickinson to haul the Lions back in to the game.

In the 81st minute Guiseley took the lead. Wrexham were too far advanced looking for a winner themselves when Guiseley quickly broke forward.

Adam Boyes found himself through on goal with Blaine Hudson chasing, but Boyes calmly smashed the ball home past Belford.

The aforementioned Rothery was sent off for a high takcle on Mark Carrington on 88 minutes which allowed Wrexham back in to the game.

They drew level in the 92nd minute, Kayden Jackson hit the byline and crossed in for Connor Jennings. He needed two attempts but found the net second time round to draw the game level at 3-3.
