Catch all the action above from when the two sides met at Prenton Park on Saturday April 16th 2016.

Kayden Jackson opened the scoring for Wrexham in the 15th minute.

Steve McNulty's horrible back-pass was pounced upon by the young energetic striker who went through to slot the ball past Scott Davies. 

It was a tight game in a tight league where 8th met 7ths with only 3 points separating the sides from a play-off birth.

Simon Heslop conceded a penalty in the 78th minute which James Norwood side footed past Rhys Taylor.

Wrexham won it though in the 85th minute when Sean Newton headed home a Wes York corner.

The sides were drawn to play each other in the FA Trophy first round on 12th December 2015 at Prenton Park.

Wrexham came out on top in a dominant display where both sides fielded their strongest available teams.

Tranmere's two goals were scored by James Norwood while Wrexham's goals came from Wes York, Dominic Vose, Sean Newton and Manny Smith.
