Dover Athletic 0-1 Wrexham | August 2018

Wrexham won on the opening day of the 2018-19 season at Dover.

Striker Mike Fondop capped an impressive debut with a remarkable overhead kick to put Wrexham ahead.

Fellow debutant Rob Lainton then saved Inih Effiong's penalty after the Dover forward was fouled in the box.

Dover thought they had scored a late equaliser when Jamie Allen pounced after Lainton dropped the ball, but the keeper was ruled to have been fouled.
