The B5101, Stansty Road in Rhosddu which passes underneath Stansty Railway Bridge will be closed until Monday, 4 September to allow Network Rail to undertake essential maintenance works on the structure.
Stansty Road is closed from its junction with Rhosddu Road, under the railway line and unto to the Crispin Lane junction, but you can still access Crispin Lane via Stansty Road, if you are coming from the B&Q roundabout/Plas Coch direction.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure and diversions for vehicles will be in place via Rhosddu Road, Grosvenor Road, Mold Road and Plas Coch Road.
It is anticipated that some inconvenience may be experienced during the closure period and drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journey as delays are expected.
So to recap - when aariving on matchdays, there will be no motor vehicle access under the railway bridge, but supporters can still walk to the ground via that same route.
