The boss gives his thoughts about the trip to the North East. He spoke to media team member Richard Griffiths earlier ahead of this rearranged fixture.
“It’s going to be a difficult test for us. They’ve had a good result at the weekend, but we’re going up there, it’s a game in hand and we need to pick some points up.
We’re going to go from a home game with a sell-out crowd of eight and a half thousand, it’s going to be a completely different environment up there – the pitch is on the other side of a running track and it’s all open. Obviously, it is what it is, but we’ll be ready for it.
We got a good result against them earlier in the season at the Racecourse, but they’ve had a change of manager. They’ve played a lot of games in the last three weeks, so hopefully we’ll get something out of it.”
