Wrexham AFC are proud to be supporting Level Playing Field's Weeks of Action campaign, with a number of virtual celebrations planned as the Reds take on Wealdstone at the Racecourse Ground.

Thanks to Disability Liaison Officer Kerry Evans, Wrexham AFC are proud to have supported the event of the last few seasons and, though we are playing behind closed doors, we were keen to still mark the campaign this season too.

Level Playing Field celebrates and promotes a positive, inclusive experience for disable sports fans. At the Racecourse, Wrexham AFC are proud to offer autism-friendly football, a sensory room and quiet zone, audio descriptive commentary courtesy of Alan March Sports and the Disabled Supporters Association, and our disabled viewing platform among other initiatives. When supporters are allowed back in, we also have accessible disabled travel and Kerry has more exciting projects planned for the Racecourse in the months ahead too.

As part of our Level Playing Field celebrations, we have two virtual matchday mascots against Wealdstone - Noah and Sammy Jones. The twin brothers are able to attend matches together thanks to the "life-changing" quiet zone and sensory room.

You can see more of their story below.

The Hooper family have also kindly sent us this video, outlining how the club has helped disabled supporters. Daughter Caitlin is wheelchair-bound but attends matches with her whole family holding season tickets.

Finally, the audio descriptive commentary has continued even when supporters have been away. To find out more, see the video below, and if you would like to be part of the Zoom call for today's game, contact @WrexhamDSA on Twitter.

Look out for more on Level Playing Field throughout the day, including an interview with Kerry Evans at half-time on the livestream.

Also - returning by popular demand - the Sign of the Times choir at St Christopher's School have performed virtually, and will also be shown on the livestream.

Make sure you buy your livestream passes now to avoid missing out. To find out more about Level Playing Field, you can visit their website.
