Leo Smith at Llandudno FC: Llandudno continued their opening fixtures of the JD Welsh Premier League camapign on Saturday afternoon with a trip to Carmarthen Town.

Leo travelled south with his new side and started the game on the left of a midfield three. He had an early chance to open the scoring in the 2nd minute when he linked up with frontman John Owen, but Leo's 22-yard shot dipped just over the bar.

In the 13th minute Leo turned two Carmarthen players inside out on the edge of the area before playing in Toby Jones who thought he was brought down in the area but the referee didn't give a penalty.

In the 38th minute Llandudno hit the post. Leo delievered a fantastic corner that was met by Ieuan Hewitt at the back post, but his free-header across the goal rattled the upright and rolled harmlessly in to open play.

After the break Leo's set-plays were causing Carmarthen more problems. He delievered a free-kick in the 49th towards Owen but this time they managed to clear their lines.

This was Leo's first game in some time, so in the 64th we was withdrawn and replaced by former red George Harry. Llandudno went on to gain their first point of the season with a goalless draw.

Next up for Leo and the Seasiders is a visit from Newtown on Saturday.
