Loan watch returns to after last week's announcement that Olly Marx has joined Rushall Olympic for a month.

Wrexham First Team

Olly Marx at Rushall Olympic: With Olly's help, Rushall made it three wins on the bounce Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 derby day victory over Halesowen Town. Richard Brodie, Wes Atkinson and Mathis Fonovich will grab the headlines for their goals but Olympic were solid at the back also.

Olly completed his first 90 minutes with the midlands-based club and came through the game after picking up a knock early in the second half.

Rushall manager Liam McDonald spoke about Olly after the game and said:

"I was pleased with the contribution made by the two lads making their debut; Olly did well, he took a knock early in the second half but gritted his teeth and came through it."

Next up for the Pics is an away trip to Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday 11th Novemeber in the FA Trophy 2nd Round Qualifying, but Olly will not be eligible to play as he may be required to appear for Wrexham in this competition going forward.

Olly's next match will be against Stafford Rangers in the Evo Stik league on Tuesday 14th November.

Which is probably just as well, as he was on crutches at training this morning suffering from a dead leg, in addition to a broken nose!
