Olly Marx at Rushall Olympic: Another two games to update supporters on Olly's progress this week as he continues his loan spell at Rushall.

First up it was Walsall Senior Cup action on Tuesday 21st Novemeber and an away tie at Lye Town. Olly completed the full 90 minutes in a 0-1 victory which saw the Pics go through to the next round of the competition.

Sam Whittall got on the end of Richard Brodie's knockdown in the 29th minute and that was enough to seal the win in what was otherwise a fairly uneventful match.

Back to league action on Saturday and the Pics ground out a 1-0 win at home to Mickleover Sports. An early goal from Jordan Sangha was enough for Olympic to pick up three points in the Evo-Stik Premier.

The result see's Rushall lift up to 18th place in the table as they continue a resurgence under new manager Liam McDonald.

Although the result was soured by Olly picking up an injury in the 40th minute of the match and he was withdrawn with Zayn Hakeem taking his place.

Olly was taken to hospital and we are awaiting evaluations on the extent of the injury. The media team will update supporters on his progress as soon as it becomes clear.
