Sam Pilkington at Gresford Athletic: Gresford entertained Rhyl at Clappers Lane on Saturday afternoon in the Huws Gray Cymru Alliance and Sam completed the full 90 minutes.
Athletic found themselves down to 10-men at 0-0 on 67 minutes after Tom Freeman was shown a second yellow card. However, just five minutes later they'd open the scoring.
Cutting in from the right-hand-side from fully 30-yards, Sam curled a spectacular shot in to the top corner, scoring his first goal for his loan club.
Rhyl did peg a goal back in the 81st minute and the game ended 1-1. Gresford are 6th in the table and take on Holywell Town next on Saturday.
Wrexham First Team
Leo Smith at Caernarfon Town: Confidence would have been high within the 'Cofi Army' ranks prior to Saturday's JD Welsh Premier League fixture away at leaders Connah's Quay, especially after last weekends victory over second place Barry Town United.
Nomads were just too good for Caernarfon on the day though. Leo played the 90 minutes against a side consisting of former red Michael Bakare and youth team player Jake Phillips.
The game ended in a 6-2 win for the leaders with three penalties, a red card and a wonder strike by Bakare.
Caernarfon remain 4th in the table with a trip to Newton next up on Saturday.
