Far too many people have been affected by cancer in one way or another. MacMillan Cancer Support knows how a cancer diagnosis can affect everything.
So, they’re here to support us and help us take back some control of our life. From help with money worries and advice about work, to someone who’ll listen if you just want to talk, they’re there.
On Friday, 29 September, Wrexham AFC will be fundraising to help with this tremendous work. The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.
People all over the UK host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone it raised £25 million and this year they are aiming to raise even more.
Our coffee morning will be held in The Centenary Club at The Racecourse Ground from 11am until 2pm. Team manager, Dean Keates and his squad will be in attendance, after they finish training, so why not pop down and have a brew with us?
To make this event a success we are asking for donations of cakes to help with the fundraising. If you would like to donate, please contact Stuart Roberts at [email protected] to arrange drop off or collection from your home address.
