Wrexham manager Sam Ricketts’ admitted there are no easy games ahead of this weekend’s clash with out-of-form Havant & Waterlooville.
The Dragons boss won’t be allowing any complacency from his side when the two meet at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday and insists that ‘we’ll be ready’.
“They’re a good side” said the Wrexham boss.
“I’ve watched them play and they move the ball well and they’ve got some good players so it certainly won’t be easy, it’s something we need to be prepared for and give something for our fans to cheer about.
“There’s no easy games in this league and we’ll prepare, we’ll be ready”.
Wrexham come in to the game on the back of an impressive 1-0 victory over Barnet via Stuart Beavon’s neat finish to extend the unbeaten run at home. Nobody has registered an away win in North Wales this season but Ricketts wants to focus on winning anywhere.
“I want to win games, home or away, people say home form is the basis of that and it is, but ultimately just winning games is the biggest thing so long may it continue”.
Without any midweek interference Wrexham and have the chance for a rare full week in training to rest and recover before working on the weekend, something Ricketts’ and his side have welcomed.
“It gives us time to re-energize and time to work on things because we do need to get better and we need to keep improving.
“We’re a young side in so many ways with new players, new management staff and a new way of playing so there’s an awful lot for us to learn and to improve on and we’ll continue to do so”.
