Defender Mark Carrington was natuarlly a little down at the final whistle, after Louletano scored two second half goals to snatch a draw at the end our friendly at the Estadio Algarve.
"I thought we had plenty of control of the game, passed the ball nicely in the first half and moved it really well," he said.
"A bit disappointed not to come away with the win, as we had a few chances to see them off, and we have to defend the set pieces better.
"It was a good run out for the lads, a few got 90 in the bank, so overall it's been a successful time."
Over the years, Mark has played in many positions and was at it again tonight.
"If Robbo had been fit, I would probably have played in the middle, but as he came down with an injury yesterday, I started at right back and then came over to left back.
"As you know I can slot in anywhere."
How was it like playing at the imposing Estadio Algarve?
"It's a nice stadium and with the canopies over the stand, the sun was off the pitch before the game got going.
"It was a good stadium to play in and I enjoyed it."
These trips are also about integrating the new players with the existing squad.
"As you've seen, they've settled in really well and we have got some good performances from them.
"Big Mike has got two goals, which is always good for your forward to get up and running. With Youngie and Summers, everyone is looking to be gelling well."
After our short stay in the Algarve, although full of intense training sessions, how was Mark looking forward to heading home?
"I'd happily stay in Portugal for a few more days!
"But while it's nice to get away, it's always nice to get back to your family."
The players will be heading to one of the local water parks on Thursday, before catching an evening flight back to Manchester.
