After two games on the road the reds are back in North Wales and back on grass for the visit of John Still's Barnet.

Form

Wrexham come into the game with one win in their last three having drawn a blank away to Harrogate Town on Tuesday. After weathering an early storm from the home side Samuel Ricketts' men crafted several chances but were unable to break the deadlock in Yorkshire. The draw followed on from a disasterous afternoon in South London three days previous, where Sutton United took three points in a 3-0 victory over the Dragons. Wrexham's last win came in our last home match where Chris Holroyd, Stuart Beavon and Rekeil Pyke put us three up within 19 minutes and Shaun Pearson headed home a fourth before half-time in an eventual 4-1 win over Ebbsfleet United.

As for Barnet they come into the game without a win in their last three and a heartbreaking end to their game in midweek. Still's side looked to have had the points wrapped up at home to Havant & Waterlooville after a double from Shaquile Coulthirst put the Bees 2-1 up, but with just a minute left to play substitute Andreas Robinson popped up for his second of the game to level the game at two apiece. Beforehand Barnet had drawn 1-1 to AFC Fylde, again Coulthirst getting on the scoresheet. A loss to Leyton Orient followed the last time Barnet won, which was a 1-0 win over Maidenhead United. Although currently midtable, of Barnet's five wins this season, three have come on the road.

Key Players

Wrexham midfielder Luke Young shone on Tuesday night after the last minute overturning of his red card just hours before kick-off. The former Grimsby Town middle man was harshly sent off against Sutton and after the appeal was succesful put in a superb man of the match performence against Harrogate. With a number of assists already this season, Summerfield told wrexhamafc.co.uk that he's also focusing at adding a few goals to his Wrexham record.

As for Barnet, striker Coulthirst has four goals so far this season, with three of those coming in the last seven days. The former Peterborough United forward grabbed 12 goals in Sky Bet League Two last term despite his side being relegated and having known what it's like to play in the EFL, he'll want to fire his side back as soon as possible.

Head to Head

Wrexham and Barnet have met on a number of occasions over the years in both non-league and the Football League. Last time we met was in Februrary 2015 where Rob Evans handed Wrexham the victory at the Cae Ras, just months after doing the same at the Hive where Evans scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory on the road. Our first meeting came in November 1991 at the Racecourse with the reds seeing out a 1-0 victory. Overall our record stands at seven wins for Wrexham, six for Barnet and three draws.

Team News

Manny Smith reamins sidelined with injury whilst James Jennings will be assessed before Saturday. Akil Wright was forced off on Tuesday and will also be looked at ahead of the weekend.
