Location: My Racecourse
Competition: Vanarama National League
Match-Day Guide: Click Here
The Dean Keates era kicks off for a second time this Tuesday as Wrexham entertain Harrogate Town on Tuesday night.
Wrexham come into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Woking last weekend under the interim charge of Brian Flynn. Wrexham took the lead in the second half through James Jennings who finished superbly three minutes into the second half before Jake Lawlor's unfortunate own-goal to share the points.
Harrogate currently sit 10th in the National League having won 2-0 on the weekend at home to Ebbsfleet United. A brace from Brendan Kiernan either side of half-time was enough to secure the victory over basement side Ebbsfleet and put Harrogate within two points of the top seven.
The entire Wrexham squad will see this as a chance to impress under new management and will all by competing for places in the starting XI.
Harrogate midfielder Kiernan is top scorer for Harrogate so far with four goals from the middle of the park having bagged a brace a few days ago. The 25-year old joined in the summer from Welling United and has impressed since stepping up to non-league's top tier.
Our last meeting came on the final day of the 2018/19 campaign where goals from Jason Oswell and Nicky Deverdics secured a victory for the Dragons. We met four times in total last season with Wrexham knocking Harrogate out of the FA Cup in a replay.
Wrexham will be without goalkeeper Rob Lainton and defender Manny Smith whilst JJ Hooper missed out on Saturday after a set-back. Skipper Shaun Pearson returns from suspension.
