Wrexham return to the Racecourse following two southern trips as we play host to title-chasers Solihull Moors in North Wales.

Form

Wrexham come into this one on the back of a tremendous 0-2 victory over Eastleigh on Tuesday. An Omari Patrick double handed the Dragons their first away win of the campaign and the first overall since April. Patrick struck a tidy finish on 16 minutes before adding a second just before half-time. It was also the Dragons first away clean sheet since February. Our last game at the Cae Ras was a 1-0 defeat to Fylde.

Solihull return to league action after competing in the FA Cup on Monday against Rotherham United. The Moors took a 3-0 lead to stun the Millers via Jamey Osbourne, Alex Gudger and Jimmy Ball before a devastating collapse in the final stages, with Rotherham scoring four goals in the final fifteen minutes of the game to progress to Round Three. Their last league game saw them score four second-half goals of their own away to Stockport County to run out 4-1 winners at Edgley Park.

Key Players

Dragons forward Omari Patrick has shown Wrexham supporters exactly what he's capable of with a brace in midweek. The attacker on loan from Bradford City was moved into a more central position within Dean Keates' overall shape to partner Bobby Grant up front and profited from two well taken chances created by James Jennings  - also in an advanced role - and strike partner Grant.

Solihull striker Paul McCallum has picked up where he left off last season at Eastleigh and brought his goal-scoring prowess to Damson Park. The former West Ham United trainee has nine goals this season including two in their latest National League fixture at Stockport. The physical forward has five goals in his last seven games in all competitions and will look to contuine that rich vein of form in North Wales.

Head to Head

We last met at the beginning of October in the West Midlands where it was the Moors who took maximum points. Goals from Jamey Osbourne and Jamie Reckford cancelled out Bobby Grant's strike in a 3-1 win. Our last game at the Racecourse was in December 2018 with Paul Rutherford's goal the difference. In 10 previous meetings, Solihull have two wins to Wrexham's five with one draw.

Team News

Wrexham are likely to be without Adam Barton again having recently undergone an operation whilst Manny Smith is still out with a long term injury. Jason Oswell has been carrying a niggle and only made the bench but did come on at Eastleigh.
