Wrexham ran rampant in the first half at the Racecourse Ground as a trio of goals in the first half-hour put Yeovil Town to the sword.
Shaun Pearson, Luke Young and Jordan Davies all got on the scoresheet as Dean Keates' side showed assured dominance over the Glovers.
The game began as it would continue, with Wrexham firmly on top. Eight minutes in Wrexham won a corner which was swung in by Young and was met by a firm header by Pearson - his first Wrexham goal in over two years.
On 16 minutes Yeovil carved out their first oppurtunity of the game with a superb free-kick from Tom Knowles, drawing Rob Lainton into a fine save.
On 19 minutes Wrexham doubled their advantage as Young rifled an effort on the edge of the box which - although it took a touch off a defender - found the back of the net.
It was a lead that was extended further ten minutes later as Jordan Davies struck a sweet free-kick into the bottom corner to make it a rout early on.
Wrexham continued to press and search for a fourth but were hit with injury trouble before the break, with Jay Harris forced off and replaced by Paul Rutherford.
Half-Time: Wrexham 3-0 Yeovil Town
The visitors started brightly in the second half but couldn't test Lainton and eventually Wrexham got themselves back on top, dominating possession and threatening when going forward.
Gold Omotayo almost netted against his former club when sent through on goal, but he was denied by the keeper and Cameron Green's follow up went wide.
After 69 minutes Davies almost had a second after turning smartly and driving an effort at goal which was deflected wide.
Neither side could trouble the goalmouth at either end in the final 20 minutes, and Wrexham comfortablly claimed the three points.
