SWEET are a National Treasure, British at the core and a Rock Music Phenomena that has taken every continent by storm for more than four decades.
Now they are coming back to Wrexham for a special 50th Anniversary gig and are donating all ticket profits from the show to hometown football club Wrexham AFC.
Wrexham native Andy Scott, guitar/vocals and brother of Wrexham AFC commercial manager Geoff said: "I'm really looking forward to doing the show in Wrexham, we all are.
"It's an added bonus being able to return to my hometown and help the football club at the same time."
Sweet are; Andy Scott (vocals/guitar), Bruce Bisland (drums/vocals), Pete Lincoln (lead vocals/bass) and Tony O'Hora (guitar/keyboards/vocals).
Sweet will be supported by Wrexham based Kidsmoke, a four piece band formed in 2013. The band play indie-pop inspired by The Smiths, Joy Division and more contemporary bands like Wild Nothing, Real Estate and Deerhunter.
