The game against Chesterfield on Saturday saw Evrah Rose read her poem ‘Wrexham Is The Name’ as part of our International Women’s day events.
The teams were also lead out by mascots from our girls football teams with the senior and junior womens teams in attendance.
The day was successful with Wrexham claiming a 1-0 victory to remain top of the league.
We are hopeful Evrah will be able to join us again at a match soon and would like to thank her for her contribution on the day in the 1864 suite, Bamfords and by becoming the first women to read the team out before a Wrexham home game.
