12.15 pm - Game On
Following a third look at the pitch, by which time virtually all the snow had been cleared from the surface and the areas of standing water had drained, the referee is happy for the game to go ahead.
We still keep one eye on the skies, as more rain is due through later this afternoon, but for now the pitch is playable.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Racecourse for this important league fixture.
11.15 am - The referee has had second look at the surface and is happier that conditions are improving, although maybe not as quick as everyone would like.
He has seen an improvement in the pitch and will return about 12.30pm for a third time.
Ground staff continue to do all they can to take off the surface water from the worst areas.
We are though still in the hands of weather gods, as to what rain will come our way in the next six hours.
Further updates to follow
10.30 am - Following overnight rain and then snow, the Racecourse has taken another hammering from Mother Nature.
The match referee has looked at the surface and inconjunction with both teams, will look at the pitch once more after 11.00am.
The drainage is working overtime to take away the rain water and melting snow, while our staff are also helping matters along.
