Aldershot Town visited the Racecourse yesterday and rescued a point in this battle between two sides looking to gain promotion to Sky Bet League Two.
Although that probably doesn't tell the full story. Aldershot were described in most of the Wrexham post match reaction as "the best footballing side" we have played thus far over two games this season.
That assesment is 100% accurate as the Hampshire side passed the ball well on a chilly afternoon in North Wales. That said, it was Wrexham however who took the better percentage of their chances.
After a poor first half going in level at the break and playing a 4-2-3-1, Wrexham switched to the more familiar 4-4-2 after the break and as the game went on became the better side.
